Aluminium sulfate is used in water treatment plants and for making paper. It can be used as a water purifier. It is also utilized as a mordant in printing and dying textiles. It is added to garden soil to make it more acidic. Because it is a good conductor of heat, coolers for machines are made from aluminum.
In recent times, drink cans are being made from aluminum and several endeavors undertaken to recycle these cans. These cans can be recycled into drink cans again thus creating a continuous chain of production with less energy consumption than digging out the metals in raw form from the cans.
Aluminium is also used to make foil, which keeps food warm and protected. Foil can be used to wrap up rooms in winter to keep it warm. A huge sheet of foil, pasted on the insulation board can prevent the heat from escaping. Putting aluminium sheet around an outside light makes the light shine brighter. It can also be used to scrap the rust from your car, with the help of coke.
Aluminium is the most flexible metal ever and is used in a variety of industries and at home too. Unfortunately, aluminium has been discovered only in the last 150 years though the Chinese have been using it since the year 300 AD. It has a direct impact on 60% of the worlds economy. It influences our lives in a number of ways.
